The Fuji Electric recorder product is a hybrid recorder offering high resolution colour inkjet printing of trace (trend) information and alphanumeric information. Three basic models can fit virtually any application, off-the-shelf.
Available in 100mm and
180mm width versions in either continuous line trace or economy
dotting models, the Fuji recorders come complete with universal
input circuitry to accept process inputs such as:
Thermocouples
RTD's
Thermistors
Voltage and Current
The user simply follows a menu-driven configuration for each point in a choice of English, French or German, to tell the recorder what inputs are attached and what they represent in user-defined engineering units. Then, the user selects a chart speed or datalogging print interval. The recorder then lays down custom, user-selected scales for each point and prints each in a unique colour.
Logical alarms are provided which can be used to stamp the chart on alarm and return to normal conditions. Physical alarm contacts are offered as an option which may be added in the field, along with RS-485 communications and chart illumination.
